The ‘Game of Thrones’ star recently fired back at a comment on her Instagram that questioned her role as a mother. Turner had shared a lighthearted photo with a friend on August 4, but one user decided to leave a snide remark: “Lmfao I think she has forgotten that she has two kids.”

The actress, who shares two daughters with ex-husband and musician Joe Jonas, didn’t let the comment slide. In a sharp and witty reply, she wrote, “Ah I’m so sorry sometimes I forget some people can’t think for themselves.” She then added, “So… get this… there’s this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day.”

Her comeback quickly went viral, thanks to the popular Instagram account ‘Comments By Celebs’, and fans flooded her page with messages of support.
Many pointed out the double standard in how people treat mothers versus fathers. “No one ever asks a Dad where their kids are,” one person wrote. Another commented, “And yet their dad is out there on a whole ass tour and nobody is saying anything to him!”
Others came to Turner’s defense, stressing that mothers are allowed to enjoy themselves. “Imagine thinking a mom can’t go out and have fun,” one user said. “Even if they weren’t with their dad, has this person never heard of babysitters? They don’t just stop being a person because they have kids.”
Turner and Jonas first started dating in 2016, tying the knot in 2019. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Willa, in 2020, followed by their second, Delphine, in 2022. However, their marriage came to an end in September 2023 when Jonas filed for divorce.
Despite the split, both have been co-parenting their children.
